Love for all, all for love!

Dear friend,

We'll start off the weekend right with good news from India. On September 6, The Supreme Court of India unanimously scrapped Section 377 of India's Penal Code. What is (or was) Section 377 you ask? It was a ruling, leftover from British colonial times, that made same-sex relationships punishable by up to 10 years of prison time. Unbelievable that it took them this long to get rid of it right? Alas, love prevails.โค๏ธ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ

In other good news, I was at the Forbes Under 30 Europe Summit this week and had the opportunity to meet many bright, young entrepreneurs. From VR to education there were people representing a wide range of industries but with one common thread: passion for using their resources for the good of planet and people. This also is an act of love; love for the planet and love for people. It was an inspiring three-day adventure, keep an eye out on Kinder World for more detailed coverage.

This week's influential person is a fearless rock climber. Alex Honnold is one of the world's best rock climbers known for his free-soloing. He climbs walls as tall as 900 metres without any protective equipment, can you imagine that! But what's influential about him is not only his amazing athleticism, he's also an incredibly generous philanthropist. Honnold donates a third of his income to charity every year, which can go up to $80,000. Of course, not everyone can afford to donate that much but we shouldn't forget: every cent counts.
